If you have ever considered living overseas and earning money at the same time by teaching English, San Diego State University has a program just for you.
The 130-hour TESL/TEFL certificate program through SDSU’s American Language Institute (ALI), a division of SDSU’s College of Extended Studies, prepares novice instructors to successfully live and teach English overseas. More than 150 TESL/TEFL certificate graduates have been employed in nearly 40 countries with the help of ALI's job placement assistance program.
This certificate program combines a solid teaching foundation with hands-on practical classroom experience. The next daytime session will be offered Monday-Friday, Jan. 7-Feb. 1. There will also be a night session (Tuesdays and Thursdays) Feb. 5-April 25.
