As projects continue to become more complex, project managers and teams are often being asked to do more with less. Their executives and clients expect innovation, agility, and responsiveness.
SDSU’s College of Extended Studies offers project management training, leading to a Professional Certificate in Project Management, designed to give project managers (and any other professionals who work on projects) the tools they need to successfully manage any type of project - regardless of scope or industry.
This certificate program offers two courses in October, including:
Microsoft Project for Managers, Tuesdays, Oct. 9-Nov. 13, 6-9 pm
This course covers proper techniques for building an effective project management schedule using MS Project with an emphasis on the relationship to the project lifecycle.
Procurement, Thursdays, Oct. 11-Nov. 8, 6-9 pm
Students learn the processes required to ensure their projects meet their original goal and gain an understanding of the activities that determine the quality policy, objectives, responsibility, and implementation.
