SDSU Construction Courses Help Build Careers

According to the Associated General Contractors of America, California has added 29,100 construction jobs this year, more than any other state.

For those looking to build a career in the construction industry, SDSU’s College of Extended Studies will help individuals climb the career ladder by offering a wide variety of online certificate programs during the spring semester.

These programs enable students to be better prepared to succeed at their chosen profession, learn from the experts in various fields of construction, and advance within their current trade or transition into a new career.

The online professional certificate programs include the new Civil Sitework course, along with Construction Estimating, Construction Practices, and Construction Supervisory Series. These programs are all designed to provide practical on-the-job skills that students can use right away. Online spring courses begin Monday, Jan. 13, with the last day to register being Monday, Jan. 20.
