North County Seller Auctions off Pee Wee's 'Big Adventure' Bike
It went for $36K. So was it a steal?
The fact that Pee Wee's Big Adventure bike recently sold on eBay for $36,600 is getting a lot of attention ... but we couldn't help but notice where the bike was located: Oceanside.
Said the North County resident, usmc_vet2008, in his/her online auction ad: "Comes with an autographed photo of Paul Ruebens, a photo of him signing the photo, letter/certificate of authenticity, Warner Bro plans/spec sheet on the red cargo boxes. I am the third owner. I bought it in 2010 for $10,000. Selling because my family is getting larger."
The media's also having a field day with the bike being in pieces. The seller explained that he/she disassembled it to ship to a previous buyer who backed out.
