Units on Camp Pendleton will be firing tanks 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, a base spokesman told Patch.
On Friday, a mysterious loud rumbling shook homes in San Diego. While there was training on base, officials could not confirm if the sound came from it, a spokesperson told Patch.
Training on base can be heard up to 50 miles away, depending on atmospheric conditions, according to releases from the base.
