The outspoken congressman from Vista is just as vivid on the photo-sharing app Instagram.
It would be difficult to predict what Republican Rep. Darrell Issa, of the 49th Congressional District, may post next on the photo-sharing app Instagram.

From a left hook to Muhammad Ali to Jo Jo the dog brushing his own teeth, his feed is quite diverse and recently caught the attention of Buzzfeed. A recent article called Issa“Amazing at Instagram.”

His style may be best summed up by his latest “Throwback Thursdays” post this week showing a vintage photo of him with large glasses and a thick mustache.
“We all had one once,” he wrote about the facial hair.

The account regularly shows local in his Washington, D.C. office, local scenes and various snapshots of daily life on Capital Hill.
On Friday, Instagram released a 15-second video feature to compete with Twitter’s looping vine videos. Issa has not yet posted a video.
