Oceanside Estate Sale Company Accused of Stealing, 'Hoarding' By Clients

Mary Camplin said that the Jasmine Jones and Tonna Keith, owners of Pro Estate Liquidators, have robbed her of more than $30,000 in goods.

Owners of an Oceanside-based estate liquidation company could face felony charges after authorities revealed that they have cheated victims out of thousands of dollars.

The home of Jasmine Jones and Tonna Keith, who own Pro Estate Liquidators on Pine Ridge Road, is packed so tightly with items (most belonging to other people), that it looks like a hoarder's home, 10 News reported.

Oceanside police also recently served three search warrants for storage spaces owned by Jones and Keith, which authorities said were packed from floor to ceiling.

Mary Camplin told the news station that the company has robbed her of more than $30,000. Last year, Camplin gave Jones and Keith about 1,000 items to sell so that she could pay to make her home handicap accessible for her ailing husband. According to 10 News, at least six of Camplin's items were recovered during the police search, even though she was told that all of her items had been sold.

Camplin never received payment for her allegedly "sold" items.

Police say that they have gotten about 10 more victimization claims from people in three different counties since last December.

Tracy Fullop, who used to work for Jones and Keith, told 10 News she's not surprised that more alleged victims are coming forward.

"It was very apparent quickly that it didn't seem above board," she said. "They couldn't keep track of everyone's stuff."

Authorities added that since more victims continue to come forward, they cannot arrest Jones and Keith, but that formal felony charges will be coming soon.

"I'm done being mad. I'm just waiting to see [the owner(s)] in an orange jumpsuit," Camplin said.
