Video: Day of the Dead Celebration Includes Altar for Slain Teen
Thousands of families attended the Dia de los Muertos celebration Sunday at the Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside. One altar featured Antonio Carachuri, a 17-year-old who was murdered in March.
Thousands of families attended the Dia de los Muertos celebration Sunday at the Old Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside.
Attendees enjoyed food, dance and rides and many celebrated those in their lives who have passed.
A new face in an altar was that of Antonio Carachuri, 17, who was gunned down in March in Oceanside’s Crown Heights neighborhood.
