At first the Sycamores seem mad, but it is not long before we realize that if they are mad, the rest of the world is madder. What happens when the Sycamores, the very proper Kirby family, a Russian ballet instructor, a Grand Duchess (working as a waitress), the maid, her friend, and federal agents arrive on the same evening? Winner of the 1937 Pulitzer Prize, "You Can't Take It With You" is a comedy classic which resonates with audiences today, with its themes of family love, civic duty, and freedom.
Reception begins at 6 p.m. and will feature wine, appetizers and desserts.
