Agents searched the Honda Civic and found three bullets, methamphetamine, a glass pipe, and a shaved key used to steal vehicles.

U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended a man and recovered a stolen vehicle at an Oceanside gas station on Tuesday.

At approximately 10 a.m., a Border Patrol agent at a service station noticed a suspicious vehicle. The agent performed a records check on the vehicle and discovered that the vehicle had been reported as stolen by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The agent approached the stolen vehicle cautiously and told the driver to put his hands up and exit the vehicle. The occupant got out of the car and was handcuffed. A subsequent canine sniff of the vehicle resulted in an alert. Agents searched the Honda Civic and found three bullets, methamphetamine, a glass pipe, and a shaved key used to steal vehicles.
