A man killed Monday near Manchester Avenue in Encinitas was identified as 49-year-old Benjamin Taylor of Oceanside.

The Medical Examiner said Taylor was found unresponsive by a passerby in his Ford F150 pickup truck, in a ditch, against a tree, near Manchester Avenue in Encinitas after he crashed about 3:25 p.m. Monday.

My condolences to Mr. Ben Taylor's wife, children, parents, and all who loved him. It's an extremely difficult thing to lose a loved one. It seems Ben may have known Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and savior, if this is true, however difficult, because he'll be sorely missed in the flesh, believe and know he is in Paradise! - LB
