Two children injured in a collision caused by a driver who ran a red light in Oceanside were airlifted to a hospital today, police said today.
The driver of a 1993 Ford F-350 ran a red light at Gateway Center Drive and Oceanside Boulevard about 5:20 p.m. Monday and collided with a 2008 Mazda5 minivan, according to Oceanside police Lt. Leonard Cosby.
Two children, 4 and 7, were flown to Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, Cosby said. The 4-year-old was treated for minor injuries, but Cosby had no information about the condition of the 7-year-old.
