Oh Brother! Mr. Knott is not "being harassed" or "threatened." He was simply asked to resign from the Board of Directors of OMHA, not because he ran, but because he used members' trust to vote against their own interests. He made baseless accusations against other candidates when he could have gotten actual FACTS with a simple phone call. If he wanted to be a serious candidate, he should have simply resigned BEFORE running and made it clear that he was only representing himself and his OWN interests. He is still putting his OWN interests ahead of everyone else's by continuing to bring negative attention to the communities and organization he was supposed to represent. It's unfortunate that he does not see that to continue down this path will only further force his removal. And, by the way, since when are accusations of threats "news?" I could accuse anyone of anything, but it would not be printed.

Jimmy made a crucial mistake in judgement, relying on his own ego, rather than any sense of strategy- get ready to be ostracized Jimmy..that's what culture does to you when you ef it up!

Just what we need more bickering and negativity on Oceanside City Council. Why in the world would Mayor Wood get involved in this? Who are the adults here? Thank goodness neither of them got elected. Come on people let's try to solve big people problems in our city and stop this foolishness. Thank goodness the election is over.
