Marine Mother of 4 Dies in Afghanistan

The military is investigating the death of Sgt. Camella M. Steedley, 31. She was a mother of four and San Clemente resident.

The military is investigating the death of a Camp Pendleton Marine, the Department of Defense released Thursday.

Sgt. Camella M. Steedley, 31, of San Diego died Wednesday, while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Steedley was assigned to Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force.

She was a San Clemente resident, wife and mother of four, according to KPBS
