North County Transit Saves $4.9M by Outsourcing

The district saved money by outsourcing to First Transit.

The North County Transit District announced last week that it saved an estimated $4.9 million by outsourcing bus operations.

However, it originally estimated that it would save about $10 million by outsourcing to First Transit, according to The North County Times.
