Online Petition Urges Prosecution of Officers Who Shot, Killed Marine

Cpl. Allan DeVillena II, 22, of San Jose. was shot by Palms Springs police officers Nov. 10.

An online petition has been set up urging Palm Spring officials to hold two officers accountable for the death of Nov. 10 killing of Camp Pendleton Marine Cpl. Allan DeVillena II, 22, of San Jose.

Police say he was one of two visibly drunk Marines who had assaulted two Palm Springs police officers and that he later accelerated his vehicle towards one officer while another was partially inside the passenger side window.
