Issa to Face Tetalman for 49th Congressional Seat in November

Darrell Issa took in 58.90 percent of the votes Tuesday.

Republican Congressman Darrell Issa will have Democrat Jerry Tetalman as an opponent for November’s election for the 49th Congressional District. Issa has held the position since 2001.

Issa took in 58.73 percent of the votes and Tetalman followed with 32.92 percent.

Independents Dick Eiden and Albin Novinec got 7 percent and 1.35 percent respectively.

Issa is a former Army Veteran and a California businessman.  Tetalman is a former nurse and owns a real estate and property management company.
