Update: Mail Service Continues Despite Fires

Mail for Impacted Residents Available for Pick Up at Local Post Office

Despite the fires that are burning in several communities in San Diego County, letter carriers are continuing to deliver mail wherever it is safe to do so as determined by fire authorities.

For customers of La Costa Station Post Office, San Marcos Post Office and Escondido Post Office who have been affected by the wildfires and are not able to access their homes or businesses due to road closures or fire damage, their mail will be available for pick up with proper photo ID at their respective Post Office.

  • Escondido Post Office, 1157 W. Mission Avenue, Escondido 92025                                                 

Affected residents can contact USPS Consumer Affairs at 858-674-2670 for local information and assistance with issues concerning their mail.
