VIDEO: Division's HQ Battalion Changes Command
Col. Rudolph M. Janiczek relinquished command to Lt. Col. Thomas B. Savage Wednesday.
Col. Rudolph M. Janiczek, commanding officer, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, relinquished command to Lt. Col. Thomas B. Savage, during a change of command ceremony at the Camp Margarita (33 Area) Parade Deck Wednesday.
Janiczek will become the Chief of Staff of the 1st Marine Division. Savage recently relinquished command of 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment last month.
