Forbes Magazine listed San Diego County as the 12th most overpriced area in the country.

Forbes Magazine has confirmed what many people already knew – it’s expensive to live in San Diego County.

But is it overpriced? Forbes Magazine ranked San Diego County as the 12th most overpriced area in the country – tied with Seattle.

Forbes looked at housing affordability, median income, cost of living costs for food, utilities, gas, transportation, medical expenses and other daily expenses when comparing areas.

Honolulu and New York City topped the list with Boston coming in third. A total of nine California cities made the top 20 list.
