MiraCosta Offers Info on the Health Care Profession

Organizers planned to address a number of topics including, making a positive impact on a community's health.

MiraCosta College invites anyone interested in a career in the public health field to a free informational session titled, “The Public Health Profession: Making a Difference in the 21st Century,” with Durrain Ansari-Yan, diversity outreach coordinator at UC Berkeley’s School of Public Health.

The session is scheduled from 4–6 p.m. Oct. 15 at MiraCostaCollege, Room 1202 (library building,) 1 Barnard Drive.

Organizers planned to address a number of topics including, making a positive impact on a community's health, reducing health inequities, deciding on a health profession, and summer internships and research.
