Parks Seek Volunteers for Concert Series

The department has three concerts coming up for its summer series.

The city of Oceanside's Parks and Recreation Division is seeking volunteers for Concerts in the Park and  other events this year, city officials said today.

Prospective candidates should be at least 16 years old and enjoy parks, people and music, according to Eileen Turk of the city's Parks and Recreation Services department.

Volunteers would assist in information booths, help set up and take down equipment and with selling tickets.

  • July 29: Exotiki & Yovee playing island music
  • Aug. 5: Good Time Jazz Band with the rythms of dixieland jazz
  • Aug. 12: Sal & Isela con los Salerosos
