Have any weekend plans? Catch a parade, concert and movie all in the same day!
City of Oceanside Parks and Recreation Division, the Friends of Oceanside Parks and Mainstreet Oceanside will host Freedom Days Parade. The theme this year is 'Celebrate Oceanside - Past, Present and Future.' The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the 101 Cafe on Coast Highway and Wisconsin Avenue. The parade will head north on Coast Highway from Wisconsin Avenue to Civic Center Drive.
After the parade, head over at 5 p.m. to the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheater for a concert, food and more.
As the sun goes down, the movie screen will come up. Around 8 p.m. the movie 'Bring It On' will be shown under the stars.
